Where I put my
curiosity to work

Projects I got genuinely excited about — at the intersection of sustainability, education, and technology.

Personal project

Games for Climate Action

Gaming is a well-documented intervention model for behaviour change — but in the climate space, one format was almost entirely absent: HyperCasual games. Simple, instant, no download needed, playable by anyone. That gap is what this project set out to explore.

Environmentle was the starting point — a daily challenge game built as my final project as part of my postgrad in Innovation for Sustainability at UCD. A curated calendar of environmental events, quick questions, reward mechanics, and small action pledges: climate learning designed to be simple, accurate, and genuinely fun.

That prototype has since grown into The Uptake Games — an expanding collection of HyperCasual challenges.

Something — Climate Action App

Something started as a B2B web platform built around team challenges: gamified, content-rich, and powered by a dedicated group of volunteers. After a successful launch in the US, the team decided to expand its reach to more users.

The B2C app is designed as a climate action companion, helping users learn from curated content, make easier, more informed decisions — take practical steps, supported by an active community. It's been my pleasure to be contributing to the project since the beginning, and continue to participate in an advisory capacity on product development, user engagement, and go-to-market strategy.

Reloop — Circularity at Home

Reloop brings circularity services directly to residential communities, working with property managers to make sustainable living more convenient for residents. Starting with e-waste collection, textile recycling, and free-product rentals, the model is built around removing friction: good habits should be easy.

The team is expanding its range of services and building a platform to better measure and report on its impact. My involvement sits across advisory support and building the reporting impact framework.
